01What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. “Local storage” is a similar browser technology. Together they let a site remember your actions and preferences over time.
02How we use them
We keep our use minimal. We use essential items to make the site work, for example remembering whether you have responded to the cookie banner, and, only if you accept, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
03Types we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Core functionality and your cookie choice | Not required |
| Preferences | Remembering your settings | Not required |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity: usage statistics, heatmaps and session replays to improve the site | Consent |
04Managing your choices
You can accept all or choose essential-only via our cookie banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, blocking or deleting them at any time. Note that disabling essential items may affect how the site works. Because we store preferences in your browser's local storage, clearing your browser data will reset them.
05Third-party services
Where we use third-party services, such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (analytics, only with your consent), Google Fonts (web fonts) or Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection on our contact form), those providers may set their own cookies governed by their policies. We choose privacy-respecting options wherever possible.
06Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. The “last updated” date reflects the latest version.
